A Bit of Drama

Yesterday, whilst packing up my library for the big move, I had a bit of drama. I have Type 1 Diabetes, and the amount of recent physical activity contributed to my blood sugar falling very low. My colleagues at work were on the ball and they called an ambulance who rushed me off to hospital. Unfortunately, I don't remember anything about the ambulance ride or arriving at the hospital. I've always wanted to go in an ambulance, just didn't want to have to be sick to do it.  After some excellent treatment, I was back to normal and able to go home later the same day. I believe it was triggered by an extremely stressful reaction to some news about the library move deadlines.  Now I have the day off work and just have to hope that the plans I've left behind are enough for people to follow and not stuff up - I guess I'll find that out when I start to unpack the library over the next few weeks in the new location. I'm sure I'll have a few surprises... At least I won't have such a tight deadline to get it unpacked (I hope!).

On the stitching front, I've only done a small amount over the last few nights as I have been so stuffed from the packing process. My camera is in my bag left at work so I can't post a photo today. I've almost used a whole bottle of Radox Muscle Soothe bath mixture! It is so good to have a long hot soak in the bath after a hard day's work.

So look after yourselves, stay well and keep stitching!

Happy Stitching,
Kerrie
