the night before last, we boarded the Canadian train for the journey through to Jasper. We didn't get a lot of sleep on the train, but it was fun. We had a delicious breakfast, a delicious lunch, saw fantastic views and even saw a black bear running away from the train! That was a highlight, I wish I could upload the pic but for some reason when I go to insert a pic, there is no upload option..
When we arrived in Jasper, more beautiful scenery, and more food to eat. We had a lovely 3 course meal at the Moose's Nook and now it is bedtime before another early start tomorrow. That is when we will go on the glacier which should be fantastic. Hopefully the weather stays good.
We've had an update from home and Clarence (our dog) is doing well. The Fairmont here at Jasper even has an area in the foyer that is pet friendly. We could have bought him if we'd known! That would have been interesting...
