Candy Cane Santa Stocking #8

Looking through my past projects, I realised I have done this stocking before - in 2007 for my nephew Jacob. I had the pattern for it already at home but I think buying the kit again was the best way to go as trying to find all the threads would have been a nightmare. I'd completely forgotten about doing it because when I give people a choice of which stocking they want, I always try to leave out ones I've already done. Well, at least it was almost 10 years ago and I don't remember doing it so it's as if I haven't done it before anyway... I'll have to check my records better next time I offer someone a choice of stockings to choose from. If you want to see the finished product from 2007, check out the 2007 tab on the top of the page.
The first window pane of Santa is done - yay!

I hope to take some stitching to the framers today to get finished off - the Robot ABC and the 4 sayings for my library walls.

Have a  wonderful weekend - it's supposed to be wet and stormy here so I'm planning on staying inside and stitching lots!
Happy Stitching,
Kerrie

  6. Santa look very rosy-cheeked and happy. Reworking a project you have previously enjoyed stitching is like reading a book you haven't read in a long time - it's brand new to you...
    Happy Stitchin'...
