Jingle Bells #7 & Movie Review - The Butler

Last night we had a date night and went to see the new movie - The Butler. It was a good movie with lots of well known actors in it. Oprah Winfrey played the main character's wife and we both thought she did a great job, as did all the actors involved. It was an overview of the black civil rights movement in America from around the 1920s to present day through the eyes of one man who eventually became a butler at the White House. It never ceases to astound me how horrible people can be to other people, based simply on something like skin colour.

Once we got home, I only managed to do a little bit of the next ornament before heading off to bed...
Happy Stitching,

  1. It is always enjoyable to watch your stitching come alive. They are awesome and I love every moment of watching. You can take your hand embroidery with you, but you can't take a machine. That is why I love hand embroidery. You do beautiful work. Have a wonderful day. Hugs and Prayers from Your Missouri Friend.
