O Holy Night #5

Friday night I saw the movie 'One Chance' about Paul Potts (opera singer) and his win on Britain's Got Talent a few years ago. It is nice to see that some people continue to follow their dreams no matter how many set-backs come their way and eventually they succeed. It was a great feel-good movie and a nice way to finish my movie nights with my friend, Susanne, for the year. We try to go to the movies about once a month or so and it is a great time to catch-up.

On the stitching front, I got some more of the centre square done - it is bigger than I thought it was. I thought I'd have it finished by today... I must have been a bit over-ambitious.

I really like the wreath around the cows neck.

Also got the new edition of my Cross-Stitch and Needlework magazine subscription. There are some beautiful Christmas designs in this one. The only problem I see with Christmas designs is that you can really only display them for a month or two each year.

Happy Stitching,
Kerrie

  1. Hi Kerrie - I display my Christmas stitches all year round. Not ornaments, but framed pieces, pillows, etc. Friends seem to enjoy them all year round, too. You're coming along on this one much faster than I would've. Great job so far.

  2. Beautiful. Great progress. I like how you focus on one piece at a time.
