WOO HOO - I am now finished, all but for a few snowflakes in the name bar across the top which will take about 15 mins. The blue patterned background came together quite quickly and I stayed up until I got it finished but I couldn't keep my eyes open long enough to do the snowflakes last night. They will have to wait until the weekend as tonight we're going to see another comedian - Ross Noble, and tomorrow night we're heading down to Aireys Inlet - which means my holiday house project can come out again - the Robot ABC.
I'm super pleased with how this has turned out and I just hope the new parents will love it for their daughter half as much!
So that means I have to find something else to start next week. Once we get home from Aireys on Sunday, I'll go through my stash and select something. I haven't looked in there for a while so there might be a few surprises I've forgotten about...
Happy Stitching,
Kerrie
Congrats on the finish! I can't wait to see the stocking all put together.
ReplyDeleteVery cute ornament.
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely! I admire your strength of character for not having a long list of must-do projects and only thinking about one at a time. There aren't many like you around! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful! I agree with Rachel...I've often admired your single-mindedness in your stitching. It's why you get things done:)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your almost-finish! I too admire your one at a time approach.

ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful. Can't wait to see it sewn together. I will miss seeing it come to life:( but I am anxiously waiting for what you choose next!
ReplyDeleteThat is really stunning! What an incredibly thoughtful and heartfelt gift. I found your blog by searching for a dinosaur abc pattern, and have checked in regularly for the last year or so. I too have a thing for alphabets, I am doing one for each of my five children. And I just wanted to let you know that since reading your blog I am honestly getting more things finished than ever before! By seeing how quickly you manage to comlete your projects by working away at them most nights it made me take a similar approach instead of jumping between projects, and my completion rate is very much improved lol. So thank you! I actually much prefer just one on the go at a time!
