One exciting thing I have just discovered is a free App for the iPhone called "Mouliner". It allows you to keep a record of your threads and create lists (eg: wishlist) so when you go to the shops, you can avoid doubling up on colours. I spent a little while last night going through my threads and adding them into the App. I have 445 DMC colours which means I'm missing only 51 (doesn't seem to include varigated colours though). It can also calculate fabric requirements and give thread colour equivalents between Anchor - DMC - Gamma - Sullivans. I haven't heard of the last 2 brands, but just for recording the threads in my boxes, it is useful enough for me.
