Grow Your Blog 2015 Welcome!

2 Bags Full
Welcome to my blog: The Cross Stitching Librarian, thanks for stopping by.

Today's post is an introduction to me and my blog for the 2015 Grow Your Blog party, put together by Vicki at 2 Bags Full.

My name is Kerrie and my blog title pretty much describes me - I'm a theological librarian by day and most nights I spend cross-stitching my heart out - I just love it. I mainly post about my cross stitch projects but occasionally other stuff pops up. I'd love it if you would consider following my blog - see the sidebar to the right to follow.

I have been blogging since about July 2012 - I started mainly to track my cross stitch projects for myself but I've since found other people are interested in following my progress too - which freaks me out! Who would have thought other people would be interested in what I stitch? And that those people are from all around the world! I just love it.

I am married (15yrs now) and we have a 13yr old Golden Retriever called Clarence. We like to travel (heading to New York in Sept 2015!) and we live in Melbourne, Australia.

So I hope you like my blog as much as I like putting it together.

Happy Stitching,
Kerrie

Paris Market #48

More leaves done last night. Filling in the empty spots slowly but surely... Might not get too much more done tonight as I plan to do our tax - woo hoo, hold back the excitement! And it'll be back to the Triplets ABC this weekend as we're off to Aireys Inlet again. Can't wait to get away for a couple of days.
I've noticed a few new followers recently - welcome, and thanks for joining in!
Happy Stitching,
Kerrie

Grow Your Blog Party

undefined

Hello and welcome to you if you're here from the Grow Your Blog Party. I've been blogging since July 2012, so I am fairly new to it. In honor of this special blog event, I'll be having a lucky draw give-away drawn on 1st Feb 2013. Leave a comment on this post if you'd like to be included (you don't need to have a blog to be included).

I love all things cross-stitch and will be sharing my works-in-progress and cross-stitching dilemmas with you.

Hope you enjoy my blog as much as I enjoy sharing it with you.

European Bistro #18

Welcome to my new followers - how exciting to have you along for the journey!

I've been having the best last few days of holidays this week - nothing but stitching all day! We went out to celebrate my nephew's 3rd birthday so no stitching last night, but luckily I got heaps done during the day... It's almost like 2 separate designs coming together in the middle now but it is great to watch it evolve into a beautiful piece.

Two more days of holidays to go after the weekend and then back to reality and only stitching at night time.

European Bistro #17

Still being on holidays has enabled me to get heaps done on European Bistro. I've still got a few more days of holidays to go so I should get some real progress on this design over the next few days.

And welcome to my first follower, Emma. I hope you enjoy my blog!

Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog!

I am a librarian and I love to cross stitch. This blog will be a discussion of my projects and anything else that pops up.

Please add your comments, I'd love to see what you have to say.

Below are just a few pictures of my many past projects:
