Candy Cane Santa Stocking #19 & some hanging

Only doing half cross stitches really allows you to get a lot done in a short amount of time. Most of this third window frame is half cross stitches representing the tree leaves.

And I finally remembered to bring my hammer to work today. I've hung the 4 framed sayings in my theological library and I think they look great. No one has mentioned the other designs I have hanging in the library, so I doubt these will get noticed either (which is a good thing since I hung them without specific permission). Hopefully, they provide just a little bit of inspiration to the students...

Life is Too Short - finished and The Time is Now #1

Thankfully, it was a quick process to stitch the left out stars...
And then I started the third design in the set: The Time is Now

Life is Too Short - (almost) finished

I love how quick these are to stitch! I thought I'd finished but now looking at the picture, I realise I haven't done the stars on the right side... oops!

Life is Too Short #2

Almost done! Very exciting.

And I've hung my other series in my theological library. They are in a quiet study area (on removable hooks since I don't actually have specific approval for them...) I'll be interested to see how long it takes for someone to notice and by then, I'm hoping they'll have been up for so long there will be no point in taking them down!

Funny side note - I didn't plan on having the bigger gap in the middle. They were supposed to be equally spaced but obviously, I made a miscalculation somewhere. But, I quite like it with the 2 groups of 2. They are framed in the same frames as the other series I have hanging in the library so I can interchange them and it will still look great. They provide some interest on the plain boring wall very nicely.

Dreaming - Finished, and Life is Short #1

Finished off dreaming and quite pleased with it. Gotta love those simple and quick designs every now and then! So then I started Life is Too Short and I'm almost half way through - after just one day! I'm surprised myself.
I collected the framed stitching on Friday and hoped to hang them today but I only have 3 hooks so I need to go to the shops to get another one. I am very pleased with how they have turned out and will get a picture to share when they are on the wall.
