Paris Market #58

We had a great weekend - went for a long drive through the country side on Saturday and planted some new herbs in our herb garden on Sunday - we use coriander the most but we went to the store and came home with everything but coriander! Don't know how we did that but we'll be going back tonight to get some! Also managed to squeeze in a
bit of stitching of course!
Above is progress up to Saturday night, below is up to Sunday night...

Christmas Stockings #18 & Herb Garden #2

Here is the latest effort. Getting these last few done is taking a bit longer than normal. We had a busy Easter long weekend, and now I have the flu so I don't even feel like stitching - I must be sick!

And our herb garden is going fantastic - we have our first pansy, and we've used our first bunch of basil in a pesto pasta which was delicious!

Christmas Stockings #15 & Herb Garden #1

Here is what I managed to get completely finished off last week whilst recovering from wisdom tooth removal...

Quite pleased with these stockings. Now I've got 19 finished and 11 still to go. I have enjoyed making these stockings quite alot.

And now for something not stitching related, but I thought I'd share it with you anyway... We had a planter box built last year and have been waiting for the hot weather to finish before we planted some herbs to use in our cooking. Well, the heat has finally finished, so now we have two types of parsley, coriander, chives, basil, mint and chillies ready to grow and be used in the kitchen. We definitely do not have green thumbs so I hope we can keep them alive long enough for them to get established and start growing...
Please keep the English, Italian & French cross stitch magazine suggestions coming...Thanks!

Happy Stitching,
Kerrie
