Santa's Journey #20

I finished off the toe bit of the stocking last night and absolutely love the red berries on the bushes. They really pop, this photo just doesn't do them justice. They are a bright Christmas red and look fantastic. And the french knots turned out pretty well also. One is a bit wonky but the rest all look even and rounded. Very happy with how they've turned out. I'll forever be indebted to my friend Judith who showed me how to do them properly - thanks Judith!
Now there's just two little birds to do next to the bushes and then the bottom half of the stocking is pretty much done, except for the gold ribbon on the present, and a little back-stitching and couching on the coat.
