Yay - Promises of God is finished! It is a fraction smaller than the others in the set, but I think once they're all framed in matching frames, they will look amazing. I'm going to try and get to the framers this Friday as I finish work a little earlier than usual. I've got the perfect place to hang them in my theological library at work and they're so appropriate so they'll fit right in.
Here is a slightly closer shot of the beading and french knots - there were quite a few but the effect really makes the design.
Now, I haven't thought about what to do next since the thought briefly crossed my mind last week. Tonight, I will most likely spend the evening going through all my kits in the cupboard trying to narrow it down to which one I want to do next... so much fun ahead!
Happy Stitching,
Kerrie
How practical to be able to spread out your stitching at work too! I was wondering the other day how you could find place to display all your beautiful stitching at home...:) Looking forward to seing what your next project will be!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! It looks wonderful. I saw this one yesterday and thought of you...

Thanks Tricia - I've just ordered that one and another that I hadn't seen before from the same set - so I'm not as finished as I thought I was!
Deletecongrats on the finish :)
ReplyDeleteI heard Babbie Mason tell an interviewer yesterday something her momma always told her and thought of you and this beautiful design - "Christians don't 'hang in there', instead they 'stand in there'! I don't think I'll ever forget this quote and wanted to share with you.
