Enchanted Ornament #12

We've had 2 days of over 40 degrees here so it's been hot, hot, hot! Thank goodness someone invented air-conditioning! Today was much better.

I've only got a small amount of stitching done. I told myself when I started holidays that I couldn't let myself get into the habit of having an afternoon snooze every day - well, so far I've had an afternoon snooze every day! I've got a week of holidays left to get that sorted out.
Still got a few more jobs on the holiday list to get done, but we're going pretty well. I think we'll be going for a drive somewhere tomorrow so that should be nice.

The Busy Crafting weekend I went to last year, is on again for 2015 in October. I've already booked in for it and am really looking forward to it. If you're in Australia (Victoria), why not consider coming along... all you need to bring is your craft.

I went to the shopping centre today for the first time since before Christmas. I got there just as the shops opened so it wasn't too busy (I hate shopping centres). I got a new cover for my 'new' secondhand iPhone and tried to find a birthday present for my 5yr old nephew. His birthday is next weekend, and every shop I tried in 3 different shopping centres has sold out of 'kinetic sand'. I've ordered some online and hopefully it will arrive in time - fingers crossed. At least I know it is popular so he should like it.

And we're booked in to go back to Aireys Inlet in 2 weekends time so I'm hoping to finish the Elephant ABC then as I've already picked out my next holiday house project - you'll have to wait and see what it might be...

Happy Stitching,

Kerrie

  1. Still great progress, even in all that heat! And it's nice to see you're already planning out your year ahead with some things to look forward to. :)

  2. Lovely progress, I dislike shopping too (unless its craft shopping!) I go back to work tomorrow after the Christmas holidays and I am completely out of my routine. Tomorrow will be a shock!

  3. Funny how libraries frown on that afternoon nap thing ;-) Congrats on your beautiful stitching progress! Enjoy those last few naps.
