Holy Night Stocking #1

Last night I started on one of the stockings I've been asked to stitch this year. It is the Holy Night Stocking from Dimensions Gold Collection. It is one I've wanted to stitch for some time so I'm looking forward to it. You can make out that what I did last night is the outline of a cow...

Thanks for the comments about my health situation - I appreciate your support. On Friday, I am back in hospital again (completely unrelated to the coeliac disease thing, just happened to occur at the same time), this time to get set up with an insulin pump to better manage my type 1 diabetes. I've been giving myself injections 4-5 times per day for the last 20+ years so it will be another big learning curve to get used to 1 injection every 3 days to insert the pump line and carb counting at meals so I know how much to boost the dose by when I eat something. I am looking forward to it, but as with everything new, I am a little apprehensive/nervous as well.
Happy Stitching,
Kerrie

  3. Hope the insulin pump works well. I am excited to watch you stitch your stocking as I have already made a mistake in mine and need to do some ripping.
