Candy Cane Santa Stocking #17


Almost finished filling in the third window pane before starting on the back-stitching.

Thanks to Margie who suggested peel & seal cellophane bags for presenting my stockings in. I've found a supplier close to my work and I hope to visit them during my lunch break to see what they've got. I like the idea of resealable plastic bags because then they can also be used for storage, not just presentation. I think they could work very nicely.

    Hi Kerrie,
    How do you end your cross stitching? Have you used the pin stitch on washables? Does it hold? Is there something you like better? Love seeing all the beautiful stitching you do! Catherine

      Hi Catherine,
      I stitch over a small tail to start and finish all my threads. I have not tried the pin stitch before.
